Entry into the Australian market
The issue
Being one of the world’s largest higher education providers and located, at the time, in 21 locations on 4 continents of the world, we helped this client set up business in Australia and facilitate discussion with industry leaders to assist them with their curriculum and introduce these leaders to their brand.
The journey
Never being in business in Australia and being one of the first contacts this new client had met in Australia, we played an integral role in helping a well-established global private business to start up in Australia. This was not only done through the areas of our expertise but, more importantly, by listening to what their grand and quick plans to being a serious player in the Australasian market required and facilitating discussion with industry leaders to assist them with their curriculum and introduce these leaders to their brand.
We worked with the client in different locations of the world, various advisers in Australia and some in areas that we had never worked in, to learn from them and see how people from different cultures do business and was impressed by how this business got on with establishing and setting up a business in a new country and implanting its brand within a relatively short period of time.
The emotion
Our contribution to this engagement was to play a key part of the team that established this global private business in Australia and continue its worldwide growth story such that we received the best accolades and appreciation from this client in fulfilling this achievement.
