Navigating lifestyle transition

The issue

Wanting a lifestyle change to a new country, we provided a robust solution to navigate the steps required to migrate assets, business and family members to their new home and opened doors to allow them to start a new life and continue their business in a foreign country.

The journey

We worked with this client over a twelve-month period to, firstly, listen to their concerns of their view of the world and their environment and, secondly, their dream to start a new life in a new country whilst still running their global business with as little interruption to their life as possible. This engagement involved guiding the client through a number of steps to educate them on what was required to migrate themselves, their family, their assets and business interests to a foreign country. It also required opening doors in that new country to help them begin a new life there.

We worked closely with the client on this project and engaged advisers at the other end to fulfil the client’s needs. We enjoyed meeting new advisers in a foreign country and seeing the clients dream come to fruition.

The emotion

The client began the dream without knowing how it was going to be achieved and in the end was impressed with how relatively easy it was to migrate his family and financial interests to a new home in the most effective manner whilst still maintaining their business.
